Skilled Art Goes Brazil

A series of events in the context of the Skilled Art Project, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

SKILLED ART WORKSHOP
10 – 12 October 2011 @ N.A.N.O – EBA/UFRJ

This workshop happens as a consequence of the results achieved in the Skilled Art Project, on interface research and development and associated strategies for the creation and maintenance of transdisciplinary communities of knowledge. Developing upon computer vision based representations of bioelectromagnetism – as a culture of interactions between biological entities – this workshop will focus on the musicality of the body, towards the development of invisible fields of expression. This sessions aim to explore crossings between the thesis of Guto Nóbrega, on art as a field phenomenon, with the pratical aplications of Luis Miguel Girão, promoting bioelectromagnetism as the new form of artistic expression.
